A casino was open for business for just one night in Price on Friday evening as the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce hosted its casino night fundraiser. The event filled The Tuscan with games, prizes and fun as the chamber welcomed members of the community to participate.
Over 150 people participated in the casino-themed event, which aimed to gather funds for the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce. These funds will then be used to assist the chamber with its daily operations, including its array of services offered to local businesses.
Each person that attended received chips to participate in the variety of games at the event. Additional chips could be purchased throughout the evening to continue the fun. At the end of the event, each person turned in their chips in exchange for raffle tickets, which were then entered for a variety of prizes donated by local businesses.
By the end of the evening, $3,143 was raised by the chamber.
“We would love to thank our sponsors, chamber members, board members and businesses who donated a prize for the event,” said Deserae Stevenson, Director of the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce. “Also, we would like to extend a special thank you to Mike Huff and staff for organizing this amazing event.”
