Faculty and staff at Castle Dale Elementary broke tradition with their Christmas tree festival this year. Child nutrition staff, custodians, librarian, instructional aids, speech therapists, administration and office staff as well as the teachers each constructed a tree out of various supplies and decorated them in the spirit of the season.
The trees decorated the entrance and media halls of the elementary school in a nontraditional style. Plastic bottles, toilet paper rolls, PVC pipe, logs, printed pages of a book, painted cans and various other supplies were shaped into trees and then decorated. Each tree was creative and specially designed to bring the spirit of the season to the school.
