On Nov. 15, Castle Heights Elementary was pleased to welcome officer Chris Gigliotti from the Helper City Police Department and his K-9 partner Mazie to their November Open Library.
The theme was “Sniffing out a good book!” and Officer Gigliotti was happy to talk to the crowd about how Mazie uses her nose to help sniff out drugs and help keep our community safe. Mazie was more than happy to let everyone pet her as the student’s enjoyed time in the library before school started.
