The Price Lions Club hosted its annual constitution bee at Castle Heights Elementary on Friday, Nov. 2. Peers, teachers and parents filled the gym to watch the participants show off their knowledge of the United States’ Constitution.
Contestants were asked questions such as, “Which amendment talks about women’s right to vote?” After several rounds, only three students three remained.
Garrett Murray took home third-place honors while Kaylee Pitcher placed second and Abigail Tharp was crowned champion. The students were all awarded varying amounts of prize money for their efforts.
