Students at Castle Heights Elementary got a treat Friday afternoon as the Knights turned Principal Chris Winfree into a human ice cream sundae.
Students that read thirty minutes each day May through August got the chance to scoop ice cream onto their principal’s head. Children then topped him off with whipped cream and a cherry on top. This activity was part of the school’s read before bed program. The Castle Heights PTA presented the students with this opportunity.
