Each month, Castle Heights Elementary school hosts an open library event. During this event, the students and their parents are invited to attend before school and enjoy some quality time together with a great past time: reading.
This month’s theme was Dads and Donuts. A plethora of dads, grandpas, uncles and brothers accompanied the students. They were able to enjoy fresh donuts and a great book together. Over 300 donuts were given out.
Castle Heights would like to thank Walmart for donating a portion of the donuts as well as Kathy Munns, the Castle Heights librarian, for welcoming all to the library for this activity.
