Carbon County Commissioners voted to adopt a resolution at Wednesday’s meeting to sell $1.1 million in bonds.

The funds from the sale would then be used to construct a new animal control shelter.

Commissioners also approved a new insurance plan for County employees. The new plan should save the County substantial amounts of money.

Commissioners also opened bids for a chain link fence at the fairgrounds and two, new ten-wheel dump trucks for the County road department.

A recording of the meeting will be broadcast on ETV Channel 10.
