The structure of Castle Dale Elementary School was alight with Christmas cheer on Thursday evening as the students delighted a full auditorium with performances of classic holiday tunes during their annual winter program.
Old favorites such as “Sleigh Ride” and “Winter Wonderland” were sang, as well as a couple of twists on well-remembered songs such as “Vive le Vent,” which is “Jingle Bells” in French, and the “Australian Twelve Days of Christmas.”
The students had fun with the performances, dancing and using props to entertain all. The performance ended with a hearty rendition of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”
