On Thursday evening, the Green River High School volleyball team played against Wayne County in a close game that ended in the fifth set.
Set one was won by Wayne County, with a strong spike by player #16, by a score of 25-17. Set two was won by Green River, with the serve by player #4 to finish with a score, of 26-24. Set three was won by Wayne with an out of bounds by the Lady Pirates with a score of 25-12.
Set four was won by Green River with a score of 25-18. Set five was met with a discrepancy in the score, which in the end was given to Wayne. The game finished off with a win by Wayne with a score of 15-9.
