Community members throughout the Castle Country have recently united to help a local family who recently lost a loved one unexpectedly.
Terry Joe “Bob” Hansen, 42, lost his life after complications with a bee sting. Sadly, Hansen left behind his wife and two daughters.
Sherald’s Frosty Freeze will be hosting a Sunday morning breakfast on Aug. 5 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. to benefit the Hansen family. All of the proceeds made from this event will go directly to the Hansen family.
Scissor Talk in Price has also organized a fundraiser raffle in an effort to help the family. For a small donation of $5, a single ticket can be purchased. For $25, a book of six raffle tickets can be purchased. Some of the prizes that can be won include a half beef cut wrapped by the Sacco Brothers/Magnuson Meats and a Browning A-Bolt 6.5 Creedmoor with a Nikon Scope by friends and coworkers at the Hunter Prep Plant.
Raffle tickets can be purchased at Scissor Talk located at 35 North 300 East in Price.
