Volunteers from the community came together to donate their time to improving Carbon County during the United Way of Eastern Utah’s annual Day of Caring. It started on Saturday morning and went throughout the day.
Lin’s Fresh Market provided breakfast for all those who participated in the all-day event. There were sign-up sheets for people to put their name into a group to volunteer for certain projects. Clean up areas varied from around the canal, to the Helper walkway, to individuals homes, and other areas in the county.
The United Way of Eastern Utah would like to extend its gratitude to Lin’s Fresh Market, Sutherlands, Peterson Chemical, Price City, City Sanitation, Price Chapel, Senior Citizen Center and Active Re-Entry, as well as to all those who participated in the annual United Way Day of Caring.
