Construction on the Price River Trail Project is scheduled to begin on Aug. 15 as construction crews begin preliminary work on the walking and biking trail.
The Utah Department of Transportation project is approximately 1.75 miles in length and will span from 100 North to Carbon Avenue in Price adjacent to the river and US-6. The paved trail will be 10 feet wide and will offer a scenic walkway for Price residents.
During construction of the trail there will be minimal impact to motorists. The contractor for the project is Nielson Construction. The work schedule for the contractor will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Traffic control devices and signs will be used to guide motorists and pedestrians around the project construction.
