The Les Schwab-Dinosaur Tire Cowboys Memorial Rodeo is happening on July 29 and 30 in Castle Dale. This is an RMPRA sanctioned event. Rodeo action begins nightly at 7:30 pm. Tickets for adults are just $10; kids 6-11 $6; kids 5 and under are free.
Entertainment this year will include three-time Indian National Finals funny man Fritz Harris. Friday evening will feature the ever popular Hide Racing, and new this year is Dally Ribbon Roping on Saturday night. Concessions will be available as well as the Castle Valley Lamb Fry going on in the park in conjunction with the Castle Valley Pageant.
