Sub Zero Ice Cream, a company with a location a short drive from Carbon County in Provo, made a special trip to the area recently as Creekview Elementary played hosted to a special event on March 12. The company visited to have fun while teaching the students and their families about liquid nitrogen.
Different experiments were conducted to teach the students about the properties and uses of liquid nitrogen, from shrinking and re-filling a blown-up balloon, to showing that liquid nitrogen weighs less than water and demonstrating the pressure of a water bottle filled with both.
The students were able to learn about a new subject and enjoy their time while learning.
