Students at Creekview Elementary recently learned more about the importance of seat belts during an assembly at the school on March 6.
The event featured the collaborative efforts of the Southeast Utah Health Department, Zero Fatalities and the Click It Club. The three entities joined together for a presentation that stressed seat belt safety and the rules of the road.
“It seemed to be a great success with students and teachers,” said Kathy Donathan, SEUHD Health Education Specialist. “The health department would like to thank Creekview principal John Thomas and teacher Mrs. Gunter for helping with the scheduling, as well as Zero Fatalities for presenting the educational film as well as providing notebooks and pencils for all of the students.”
