Students at Creekview Elementary participated in an emergency drill on Thursday afternoon. Teachers, school staff and officers from the Price City Police Department supervised the drill that every student in the school participated in.
At the announcement to evacuate the building, students lined up and traveled next door to a neighboring church. Students will follow this course of action any time there is a disaster that requires evacuating the school building. Such disasters would include a fire or a gas leak. Another instance would be if something toxic spilled on the highway, such as a chemical leak.
