The Carbon Dinos faced Richfield on the tennis court Tuesday afternoon. The matchup was the Dinos’ first game of region play.
Coach Pete Riggs emphasized the improvement he saw in his players on Tuesday.
“They’re starting to feel more confident and are definitely moving in the right direction,” he explained. Although none of the singles players won the overall match, they all fought hard and won games within the matches.”
The number two doubles team of Robbi Etzel and Andrew Richens was victorious against Richfield. The duo dominated the match, winning 6-0 and 6-3. Zane Whitmer and Jaymin Cowley were not as successful in the match, losing 1-6 and 2-6.
