All the teams from Region 12 gathered for a golf match on Wednesday at South Sevier’s home course. The Dinos took the match for the third time this year with a team score of 324. Grand and Richfield were close behind with 330 and 332 scores, respectively. South Sevier (365), Emery (377) and San Juan (399) rounded out the scoring.
Carbon’s Bode Salas continued his excellent season and led all golfers with 72 strokes on the round. Fellow Dino Kaden Slavensky came in second individually with a 77 score. Trevin Wakefield and Davery Killpack led the Spartans with 90 strokes each.
The teams will all get together again when San Juan hosts the next match for the region on Sept. 4.
