Human resources director Rose Barnes presented the employee of the month award at the Carbon County Commission meeting on Wednesday. The award was presented to Don Marrelli, who has worked as an EMT for the ambulance for 26 years. Seventeen of those years he has spent as a supervisor.
Marrelli was awarded for the hard work and perseverance that he has put into being a part of the ambulance team, and was recognized as not only doing very well at his job, but also enjoying his time spent while working.
“You can tell he really loves his job because he does it well,” commissioner Casey Hopes shared as he presented Marrelli with a plaque.
