Jamill Tapia, a well-known, local citizen, was recently hospitalized at Utah Valley Hospital and is being treated for Guillain-Barre syndrome. This is a very rare disorder that can cause paralysis due to the immune system attacking the nerves.
The Tapia family has done many great things for the community and the time has come for the community to be able to give back to them. An account has been established at Eastern Utah Community Credit Union under the “Frankie Tapia Donation Account.”
Those that are able to donate can do so through that avenue. Those that are not able to assist monetarily are asked to keep the family in mind during Jamill’s fight.
