Carbon High School Future Farmers of America hosted their second annual donkey basketball game Friday. Riders from local radio stations and students from Carbon and Emery High schools participated.
The audience was treated to an unusual game of basketball. Players rode donkeys up and down the court passing the ball while attempting to make difficult shots. The crowd and players enjoyed the unique game while the donkeys seemed oblivious to what was going on.
Local dance company Encore Dance Studio participated in theВ pre-gameВ show as well as brought local residents of all ages to the event.
Funds raised at the event will go toward supporting FFA members at theirВ various competitions throughout the year.
