The USU Eastern men’s soccer was on the road Saturday to take on the Colorado Northwestern Spartans.
The first half of the game started off slow for the Eagles, who allowed the Spartans a quick score. Battling back during the second half, USU Eastern was able to step it up and freshman Nolan Ramirez scored a goal to take the game into overtime. The Eagles were able to keep the Spartans from scoring and took them into double overtime, ending in an even tie of 1-1.
The Eagles will be playing their conference home opener on Thursday against the College of Southern Nevada Coyotes at 1 p.m.
