In October 2012, Lil’ Touch of Bling was opened 100 East on Price. Since then, the business has grown and changed exponentially.
With a move on to Price’s Main Street, the store also experienced a change in name, then boasting the title of Edgy Bling. With the name change, new apparel and men’s clothing were also welcomed into the establishment. Throughout the seven years of business, the store was ran by local businesswoman Karra Hillam.
The newest change to the business is that it is under new ownership. Brenda and Lex Martinez are now the proud owners of Edgy Bling as well as the upcoming store Buds & Blooms that will be located in the downstairs portion of the business. The new store will feature a mixture of home decor and children’s clothing. While it is not open for business yet, the Martinez family shared that the first shipment of children’s apparel is on its way to the store.
The duo shared that Hillam built the store with passion and a tremendous amount of hard work, late nights and care. “Without you, there would be no Edgy Bling, nor will there be our new store downstairs, Buds & Blooms,” the Martinez family shared. “We depend on you, keep shopping local.”
