Emery High School wrestlers began their season with a practice Monday, with the first tournament in which they will participate taking place at Carbon on November 24 and 25.
Kirk Christiansen will head the program with assistant coach Justin Thornley. Many others will help out as well.
“I’m really excited for this year,” Christiansen said. “We have seven returning state qualifiers, five of which are state placers, and a whole bunch of freshman. I think it’s going to be a really good year. I already got goose bumps 4 times at practice today.”
