An emergency services symposium was hosted Saturday at the Carbon County Events Center. The purpose of the event was to help train the first responders in emergencies about treating medical conditions typically seen in an emergency room.
Doctors, nurses, paramedics and others involved in emergency services gave presentations throughout the full-day event. The symposium was open to first responders throughout the state. The event was hosted by Carbon County Emergency Services in conjunction with the Carbon County Ambulance and Carbon County.
