After an upset win over #1 seed South Sevier in the early game 5-4, Kanab was up next for the Spartans on Saturday in the second round of the state baseball playoffs in Monroe.
The Spartans beat the Cowboys 9-6 to earn a quarterfinal game against region foe North Sevier Thursday at Dixie State University in St. George. The game will take place at Bruce Hurst Field at 1:30 p.m.
