First night of the 15th Annual Desertview Pro Rodeo was held Thursday night. The night was filled with lots of fun and excitement. The rodeo clown, Bert Davis, wowed the audience with his dog acts. All the dogs he uses in his acts have been rescued or are strays that he has found along his way in his travels. BJ Schumacher also performed a neat specialty act with his two Brahma bulls, Apache and Geronimo. Some of the favorite events included the hide race and the wild cow milking. New event that the rodeo hasn’t held for a while was the mutton bustin, this was one of the favorites for the audience.
