The Emery County School Board is currently seeking applications for a position on the school board.
All applicants must be 18 years or older, be a registered voter in Orangeville or West Castle Dale (school board precinct number 2), a resident of that area for at least one year, mentally competent and have no felony convictions. Applicants cannot be an employee of the Emery County School District.
Those interested should submit a letter expressing why he/she is interested in filling this vacancy and verifying the qualifications listed above and any other qualifications he/she may want the board to consider. Applicants should send letters to:

Applications are due by Feb. 25, 2015. The board will begin interviewing qualified applicants at 6 p.m. on March 10 at San Rafael Jr. High and will make the final appointment and swear in the new member that same evening.
