The Auxiliary Posts from Orangeville, Huntington and Ferron have chosen girls to represent their communities at Weber State University for a week, June 2 through June 7. Huntington Post #73 has chosen Dazi Thatcher. Natalie Pace, Lily Sorensen and Jentri Price will represent Castle Dale Post #39. Four girls, Haviyn Pitchforth, Kallee Lake, Alyssa Morrill and Abby Valentine, are being sponsored by Ferron Post #42.
The girls will learn how laws are made, how local and state government works, learn an appreciation for veterans and Americanism and earn three hours college credit in Political Science. Also, they will make new friends and life-lasting memories.
