Emery High School’s auto department hosted a car show fundraiser on April 22 to raise money that would assist the students.
Roughly $1,300 was raised during the fundraiser. The money is going to be used for the various competitions that the auto department students enter throughout the year, among other necessities. The previous auto department teacher also donated an old car that the students are restoring and the money raised will assist that as well.
Many sponsors helped to make the car show possible, such as Magnuson Lumber, Ace Hardware, JN Auto, Main Street Grill, Parts City and more.
“We want to thank everybody that was a part of it; hopefully we can keep it going and make it an annual thing,” stated Chandler Peacock.
