The Spartans continued their region schedule on Tuesday afternoon with a match against South Sevier. The black and gold crew found the back of the net early and often to lead 4-0 at the break. South Sevier found some life in the second half and tallied three goals, making it a close game. Emery added one more and stopped a late chance to take the game 5-3.
Kaden Westenskow, Tayvan Duyman, Carsen Childs, Colten Childs and Jesus Ayulla all scored for the home team. This is the second game this year, where the Spartans have given up three goals in the second half with a lead. Emery will need to sure up its defense to continue its success as the season continues. The Spartans (3-3) will round out the week at Carbon (0-3) on Thursday.
