The Millard High School Rodeo gave Emery Rodeo team members more points for state over the weekend. Points are given for placing in the top ten in each event; starting with 10 points for first and down to 1 point for tenth.
Friday night, Will Magnuson placed eighth in tie down while Korby Christiansen covered his bronc, placing fourth, in addition to taking ninth in team roping. In reining cow horse, Drake Weber finished second and Riata Christiansen was third.
On Saturday, Shaylee Gilbert took third in breakaway roping. Wyatt Magnuson was second and Hayden Cloward was third in tie down. Riata Christiansen finished in sixth in goats while Hayden Cloward split seventh and eighth in team roping.
