The Spartans played host to the Wasatch Academy Tigers on Thursday in the eighth game of their season.
Hoping to continue their winning tradition, the Spartans couldn’t find the net in the first half and ended in the Tigers’ favor 1-0. The second half continued the bad luck for the Spartans, who finished the second half scoreless, leading to the 3-0 shutout by the Tigers.
Emery will host the North Sevier Wolves on Tuesday with hopes of redemption.
