The Epicenter in Green River will host a housing open house for members of the community on April 11.
Maria Sykes, who works at the Epicenter, was able to answer a few questions and gave an overview of what to expect that day:
What are the goals for the open house? We (Epicenter) want the local community to be co-designers with us for all future housing that we build in Green River, and this housing open house is the beginning of that process. We’ll also be sharing resources for anyone looking to rent, buy, or renovate a house.
Who is your target audience for the open house? Our target audience is Green River residents who are looking to rent, buy and/or improve their existing house. However, everyone is encourage to attend to provide feedback on the location and type of housing to be built in Green River.
General info for the day: Open house attendees are welcome to stop by Epicenter anytime on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be information and activities related to housing, but also music, games and food. Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. until we run out! We’ll also be raffling off some prizes. Kids and well-behaved pets are encouraged to attend.
