Erma Jean Shores Jeffs, 69, of Springville, Utah passed away peacefully in her home on September 15, 2016. She was surrounded by her husband and family. Jean was born on July 24, 1947 in Maryanna, Florida. She spent most of her childhood in France, where her father was stationed with the US Army. In 1968, she married Robert “Bob” Jeffs, and they had four sons.
Jean was loved by her family and friends for her unique personality. She could find beauty in the simplest things. She loved to cook and watch cooking shows every chance she got. She passed this love onto her sons. She liked to take rides up the canyons, especially Hobblecreek Canyon with her husband and dog. Her favorite flowers were sunflowers and roses. She loved to sing and dance to country music. Most of all, she loved her boys, daughters in law, and grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Jeffs; her sons, Nathan (Jennifer) Jeffs of Helper, Utah, Robert Justin (Nikki) Jeffs of Helper, Utah, Cody (Sammie) Jeffs of Seattle, Washington, and Matthew Jeffs of Springville, Utah. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Belinda, Billie, and MaryAnn; 3 brothers, Wade, Wayne, and Johnny; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial service to celebrate Jean’s life on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Grace Bible Church, 239 South Main Street, Springville, Utah. A service will be held from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, followed by refreshments and time to visit with family from 12:00pm-3:00pm.
