Farmers market season is underway and thriving in Carbon County.
Farmers are selling their bounty every Saturday, weather permitting, at the Price City Peace Gardens starting at 9 a.m. Fresh, as well as some organic, produce is offered every week along with flowers, essential oils, homemade soap and various crafts. The market will continue into October if weather permits.
According to utahsown.utah.gov, for every $1 spent on local product, $4-6 is added to Utah’s economy. Stop by the farmers market this week and support a local farmer and the community.
