The Ferron City Planning Commission met on Tuesday evening to discuss adding cats to the city’s animal ordinance.
During the meeting, it was decided to add the word “cats” to the ordinance every place there was the word “dogs.” So, now the ordinance will read dogs and cats, making the same regulations for cat owners as for dog owners.
The ordinance will be presented to the Ferron City Council at its next meeting for possible approval and adoption.
