Less than a week before Christmas Day, four lucky residents of Price City were awarded for their holiday spirit when they were chosen by the Price City Progress Committee for the Spirit of Christmas Yard Award. According to the progress committee, the awards are always chosen by the committee. The criteria was based on best use of the Christmas theme as well as curb appeal.
Price City Council member Terry Willis was joined by members of the progress committee to present these awards on Tuesday evening. The awards were presented to David and Marjorie Paur, Norm and Leona Potter, Lauren Reaveley and family, and Kathy Morales.
The winners were awarded with festive Christmas-themed yard award signs that they are able to proudly present in their yards this holiday season. This was the final yard award of the 2017 season. The progress committee is anticipating the yard awards beginning once more in 2018.
