The Fill the Boot fundraiser at the Emery High football game on Friday will raise funds for the Jacobson/Ward family of Cleveland.
The family was involved in a fatal Highway 6 accident on Saturday. The Jacobson family was traveling on Highway 6 when another vehicle pulled onto the highway from SR 89. The family was unable to slow their pickup that was hauling a horse trailer and collided with the vehicle.
Driving the pickup was 38-year-old Landon Jacobson, who suffered critical injuries. Heather Jacobson, Landon’s 38-year-old wife, along with their seven-year-old son Broc, died on scene. Bowdie Jacobson, 16, sustained critical injuries.
Those in attendance at the football game will have the option to “Fill the Boot” with cash donations. Every donation, large or small, is appreciated. Donations can also be made for the Jacobson family at Utah Power and Light Credit Union and Mountain American Credit Union under The Jacobson Family Donation account.
All proceeds will go to the family.
