The Museum of the San Rafael hosted Emery High School’s first annual art show on Thursday evening. The art show included works from 24 students in the basic painting class.
“75% to 80% of these students have never painted before,” Michael Royall, the art teacher at Emery High school said. “I am proud of them, I really am. The level of painting is phenomenal.”
Chase Fausett, Emery High School’s Art Sterling Scholar, showed off several of his paintings at the event. Fausett is a senior this year, and he plans on attending Southern Utah University and majoring in art.
