Food for Thought: St. Patrick’s Food Fun

Fun foods plus good nutrition makes for happy students! Whenever possible, we look for reasons to do something creative with lunch. St. Patrick’s Day dessert was a Pot of Gold Under the Rainbow, served to students at every grade level.

Dessert didn’t credit toward any requirements but did fit within the caloric parameters required by USDA. Secondary students enjoyed meatball sub sandwiches, fresh fruit and veggies. Tator tots and milk completed this fun and filling meal.
