Former Emery High track star Erin Hurst continues to see improvements in her sophomore year on Dixie State’s track and field team. Hurst set a personal record in the 3,000 meter steeplechase in April, cutting off almost 30 secs from her previous PR. She finished with a time of 12:19.40 in the event at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Championships.
The Cleveland native is also finding success in the classroom. She was recently announced a member of the RMAC honor roll, meaning that she has at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA.
