Graduating seniors in Carbon and Emery counties are being offered a way to launch into a new career following graduation thanks to Jenmar Services.

For those graduating from Carbon, Emery, Pinnacle or Lighthouse high schools in 2019, Jenmar Services is offering the 32-hour MSHA surface and underground training course free of charge.

“Jennmar Services would like to congratulate the class of 2019,” Jenmar staff shared. “Welcome to the next phase of your lifetime.”

The training certification is required for anyone working at any mining location. Space is limited, so graduating seniors are encouraged to register as soon as possible by calling (435) 637-9300.

Jenmar is known for its work in placing experienced and inexperienced surface and underground miners into careers that could last a lifetime. With offices in Price as well as Colorado, Jenmar Services provides training and support to secure high-paying jobs with benefits for the local workforce. However, the company’s scope expands past the mining industry.

“Jennmar Services also works with companies from a variety of industries, so even if mining isn’t in your future, come and see us,” staff shared. “We will try to help find you a job, whether it be a part-time summer job before college or a construction or industry job, we will try to help you find a job.”
