Families and fun seekers filled the gym at Huntington Elementary on Friday, Feb. 11 for the school’s annual Valentine’s Day Carnival. Everyone was invited to attend from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
As guests arrived, they could purchase carnival tickets for $5. This allowed let them participate in the games of their choosing and enjoy a meal in the lunchroom. There were craft and bake sales in the hallways while the gym was filled with a ring toss, fortune tellers, cake walks, a coin toss, treasure hunts, face painting, football, basketball, cornhole and balloon animals.
The carnival games were hosted by teachers, law enforcement officers and former teachers as well as friends and parents of Huntington Elementary students.
