The 2014 general election will take place Tuesday, Nov. 4 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. throughout the country. Citizens in Carbon and Emery counties will head to the polls, but some may still be unsure of what races, candidates and issues will appear on ballots. Others may not know where to go to vote. All these questions can be answered at vote.utah.gov.
On this website, voters may provide their address and be directed to election information specific to them. Information includes sample ballots, candidate profiles, issues that will appear on the voters ballot, precinct or voting locations and election night results.
Preliminary results for local races will be available Tuesday, soon after polls close at 8 p.m.
Because provisional ballots will still need to be counted, official results on closely contested races may not be known until Nov. 18. Updates will be posted on this website as they become available.
ETV10 News will also track results closely and post information following the Nov. 4 election.
