Wellington’s well loved Los Jilbertos will be hosting a grand re-opening following the destruction of the restaurant’s former location back in January.
During the early morning hours of Jan. 16, the restaurant was demolished after a semi slid out of control on the highway in front of the restaurant. While two people were inside the restaurant at the time, no major injuries were reported.
With the building irreparable, the business owners set their sights on a new location down the road. The restaurant will be debuting at its new location, 1010 West Main Street in Wellington, on Monday, Sept. 2. Customers will be welcome beginning at 5:30 a.m.
The restaurant will be open daily from 5:30 a.m. to 12 a.m.
