Green River High School junior Tyson Giles is one of those kids that tries hard in everything he does even when things get tough he does not give up.
Recently, Giles placed first in the Region 19 Golf competition and was named the region champion. Giles has been golfing since he was seven years old. If it wasn’t on the green at the golf course it was in the back yard and his parents were right behind him filling in the divots. This was one of those things they knew wouldn’t last forever and they could laugh about later.
Giles has two brothers and two sisters and they all look up to him. Giles enjoys hunting, playing every sport, riding horses and camping. The truth is, he enjoys life! Giles also loves doing sound and tech for the drama class. Because of his hard work and ambition to do good and learning that academics is important to him and his future, the eleventh grader has pushed himself to keep his grades up and stay eligible for sports.
When Giles turns 18, he would like to serve a LDS mission. Upon returning, he has plans to attend Dixie College to earn a degree in wildlife resources.
Giles is the son of Bryan and Bridgett Meadows.
