Despite scoring their first offensive touchdown in 12 quarters, the Carbon Dinos were easily downed by the visiting North Sanpete Hawks Friday night, 46-8.
Carbon (1-6, 0-2 Region 12) scored its lone touchdown in the third quarter on a long pass play from quarterback Dakota Cisneros to Zac Hathaway. The two hooked up again on the ensuing two-point conversion.
Carbon will next host Payson (2-5, 1-1 Region 12) on Friday. The game will be broadcast live on ETV Channel 10 in Carbon, Emery, Grand, and San Juan counties.
