Our beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and aunt, slipped through the bonds of mortality and returned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Holly Danielle Tracy was born October 19, 1987 in Ogden, Utah. Her parents are Steve and Christina Pay of Price, Utah.

She spent the majority of her youth in Roy, Utah. Holly attended Clearfield High School. Upon graduation from high school, Holly lived in Draper and then West Point, Utah. She most recently lived in Gallup, New Mexico where she taught Special Education Math at Miyamura High School. She loved her students there and felt she was meant to be their teacher. She touched the lives of each student that she came in contact with and they loved her in return. Her co-workers were excited each day to see what new colorful outfit she would wear to school. She had a special rapport with her students and the faculty said her influence will be deeply missed.

Holly was a ray of sunshine to all that knew her. Her smile could light up a room and her good nature and cheerfulness was contagious. She loved her family, animals, plants, gardening, and learning. She was working on completing her Masters Degree. She loved her kitties; they brought her great joy and comfort. Holly had a big heart and she gave in so many ways to so many different people. This world has lost a bright star.

Holly is survived by her parents, Christina and Steve Pay of Price, Utah; sisters Brianne Pay Meagan (Kris) of Riverton, Utah; Bethany Tracy (Taylor Lund) of Ogden, Utah; Kaitlyn Ipson (Austin) of St. George, Utah; and brothers Derek Pay (Amanda) of Bluffdale, Utah and James Tracy (Maggie) of West Haven, Utah; and ten nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her grandmother, Marian Blaylock Collins of Clearfield, Utah. Holly was the “tummy mommy” to her son, Dylan Peterson, who was adopted by Preston and Carrie Peterson of Herriman, Utah.

Services will be held Saturday, March 3, 11:00 am at Myers Mortuary in North Ogden, Utah. Internment will be at Ben Lomond Cemetery in North Ogden.
