Three Emery Lady Spartans scored in double figures Tuesday night in Emery’s 70-34 win over Gunnison. The win gives Emery its third Region 15 win in as many tries.
Jessican Olsen, Lainee Jensen and Megan Jensen each scored 12 points. Just behind them was Taijah Price with nine. Bailey Huggard and Camrey Johnson each pitched in eight.
After a tight first quarter that the Lady Spartans won 15-12, the second and third quarters saw Emery outscore Gunnison 40-14 to run away with the victory.
Emery (8-5, 3-0 Region 15, #3 in 2A) will next host San Juan (6-6, 1-1 Region 15) on Thursday. The game can be viewed live on ETV Channel 10 at 7 p.m.
